Biography:

Born and raised in Sydney, Vimala her childhood passion of Bharthanatyam at age five.In 1991, she joined her current guru, SBS.Jayalukshmi Natanalaya Kandiah OAM and Dance and Music Academy in Sydney, Australia, where she specialized in Bharthanatyam (Kalakshetra style). In the past 18 years, Vimal Natanalaya acting annual programs, but also major roles in all dance dramas.
Vimal Bharthanatyam graduated in 2000. Since its arangetram, besides playing with her school dance, others out Vimal's performances, to name a few include: the opening ceremony of Sydney Olympics, Sai Baba Mission Chinnmaya music program, Refugee Week, festival Deepavali, the temple features and much more.
Vimal took part in a production by renowned dancer CV Chandrasekhar of India, "KREEDA" executive in both Canberra and Sydney. Vimal has also the honor of being invited to the Ganesh Temple in New York, USA, where she is a complete program for a full and appreciative audience.
